NEW ACQUISITION AREA

UC Main library's recently acquired resources, such books, periodicals, DVDs, or other media, are arranged in a special location called the new acquisition area so that users may locate them with ease. Users can explore new material without having to search the full catalog thanks to this section that highlights recent additions to the library's collection. Items chosen according to current interests, seasonal themes, or recently published works are frequently included.

REFERENCE AREA

UC Main library's "reference area" is a section devoted to resources that offer fast and trustworthy information for fact-checking and research. Encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, almanacs, legal papers, and other reference materials that are normally exclusively available for use within the library are included in this section. Reference librarians are frequently stationed in this section of libraries to help users locate and utilize these materials for scholarly and research reasons.
